Sample story text
Sofia arrived at the moonflower garden carrying the map she had drawn with Dad Marco and Dad Eli at the breakfast table.
The path was supposed to go left, left, right, then straight to the tallest purple flower. But overnight, the garden had changed. New vines curled across the walkway, and the butterflies were fluttering in the opposite direction.
Sofia frowned at her map. This is not the plan, she whispered.
A tiny lantern bug blinked beside her boot. Sometimes the garden tells us the next step, it seemed to say. Sofia folded the map gently and followed one butterfly, then another.
The new path was not straight, but it led to a circle of flowers that glowed brighter than the one she had planned to find. Sofia saved a petal for each dad and drew a new map when she got home: the kind with room for surprises.
